Default Looking for basic shotgun instruction in San Francisco

My cousin is looking for competent shotgun instruction in the bay area. She inherited her father's shotgun, but alas he is gone and never showed her how to use it.
She wants to take a basic course or hire an instructor to school her on her shotgun.
Any referrals will be welcome.
Thanks.

have her contact chabot or jackson arms... i know that the both of them offer classes and instruction in handguns and rifles (so i'm almost certain they do shotguns as well).

good for her; too many people sell off their inherited firearms

In SF itself, Pacific Rod and Gun Club. They have a nra cert instructor or another option is to come to the shotgun forum on this site and wait til Thefeeder offers his shotgun clinic again. Ive been to two clinics and the instructions help a lot. I could have just tried to learn on my own but Im sure I would have wasted a lot of ammo and clays. Thefeeder pretty much teaches the class for free. All that you need to do is to cover ammo and a 15.00 dontation to the youth shooting class that is held there. Shotguns of different platforms are there to try out for free. IIRC the next shotgun clinic will be in Feb. but thefeeder is sometimes there on Sat and he doesnt mind giving tips to new shooters.
