I use the Lee carbide dies and plated bullets. The ones I'm currently using came from Rocky Mountain Reloading but I also have some from Xtreme that work great with 14 gr Win 296.

Sweet, I have a 4# jug of 296. My book shows 14 to 15.5 grains of H110 for a 110 gr FMJ, 296 should start out the same. I take it they cycle well at that starting load?

I use both 296 and h110, 14.7gn pushing a 110 bullet cycles well in my winchester m1 carbine. Easy to reload

Last weekend I picked up a blanket at the flea market, makes a prefect photo background for my carbine.
Already posted a picture of this on the first page, but here's a nicer photo! 1944 Inland. I originally paid $1k for this, which I thought was a bit much, it included a couple mags, the mag pouch, oiler/sling, and a reproduction paratrooper stock. When I bought it the guy then offered me a Chinese sks for $100, could pass that up. Sold the paratrooper spock to a friend in Nevada for $150, sold the SKS for $300. Bam, $650 M1! Here is my Underwood I picked up about two years ago. It was marked as a Universal. Can you tell why?

My 4,5 million Quality Hardware Carbine. The best I can determine it was made in September or October '43. It has an undated Rock Ola barrel, and an Ordinance replacement stock. Also has a *****in' type 2 barrel band. the rest is mixmaster.

No wonder it is so hard to find a good carbine at a good price when some of you have 2,3 4 even dozens of them. Share the wealth.
