I made a call to Cabela's to see if they have any (JC-210757) stock and I was told, "all sold out." I explained that it shows the primers were in stock on the website the sales representative said the site is wrong.

Try and navigate to CCI primers from the home page. I believe all that is in stock is shotgun primers.

Not saying you should not order, but don't get your hopes up.

I thought it was weird last week too, but the reason it shows in that link and not the regular search under cci is because that's a direct catalog item number. Bought mine last week and they are shipped and due to be delivered Monday.

Yes, I called, used the catalog number, and was told none are available.

So I just called again, the primers are in stock.

Weird.

I don't much trust the responses when calling them. I too have been given "out of stock" quotes when online they were listed as available. I ordered anyway and received what I ordered.

thanks for the link but way too pricey...

including clubfive shipping discount, 2k primers $100 - sorry, primers still available hit and miss at LGS and local ranges. Once you add the $20 hazmat fee its just not worth it.

I do wonder whats the delay with large pistol primers...large * small rifle and small pistol seem to be popping up all over the place.

You could always try to find someone to split the shipping/Hazmat cost.

Yes, not cheap, but they have them. I have not had much luck finding SPPs anywhere else and the few thousand I scored locally, I paid $48.00 per 1k instead of $37.99. If you buy 5-10k, this isn't that bad.

There are a LOT of people still paying $65.00 per 1k on the Trader and Gunbroker.

I just buy them in groups of 15k. Works out to $608 after ship and haz. Expensive but still within reason.

Just checked site LRP are now in stock too. To make it worth it you must order at least ten thousand. It then comes out to around 41 per thousand about the price i pay at the lgs in the OC when i can find it. Still deciding

Everytime I see one of these threads, I get excited and want to order some....then I realize I already have some coming.

Just be careful if you have a cabelas in your area and you do a big order.. i got 10k last week @ about $45 each k shipped, with hazmat, shipping and tax - thought I was a rock star, and could peddle the extras on backpage.. them my store got a boatload @ $37.99. Lucky for me, they ran out in a day, and I was able to unload the extras without getting hurt..

I could tell the minute the local store ran out because I stopped getting "youre a gouger" emails (@ $50 per k), and started getting "I'll buy them All" emails..
