Gen 2 doesn't come with dust covers but who need one anyway. If the dust cause malfunctioning then AR15 is not worth a crap.

i believe the dust cover also helps protect the feed lips in loaded mags. either way great deal if i had money and more storage.

The 10rd mags aren't everyone's cup of tea. I bought a few and decided to sell them. As for the proposal for a retroactive ban on kits larger than 10rds, that's a longshot to pass IMO.

If you need 20rd kits, I've got a few of the Magpul Gen3 in the link in my signature.....

its also a lot cheaper to make your own 10/30 mags.

Some people just like the look. Some people go shooting in Nevada. Some people plan on assembling them in case of zombie attack.

re: the other post about the dust covers - they do take the pressure off the feed lips for long term storage. They also provide protection if the magazine is dropped - a magazine dropped on the rounds can do some weird things, especially if it's not totally full.

I concur, although I understand... 30rnd mags that are only 1/3 full just seem weird, and feel really unbalanced.

I greatly prefer the 20 rnd mags as well. the 10 rounders are just too dinky. And at least the 20/10 mags are 1/2 filled, so the balance feels better. Now if only I could find them in FDE at nice low prices like these 30 rnd ones have...
