Check out the OC Gunsmith in Orange at Ade's Gun Shop:

Mark Bunach - Master Gunsmith

He just Cerakote'd my H&R 1871 "TALO Ltd. Edition Trapper .45-70" in Cerakote Armor Black (H-190Q). It turned out great! His prices are really competitive and he has a fast turnaround time. --1911ShooterPhil

Disassemble the gun all the way down. Take any of the loose parts you want hardchromed too. As long as they are blued steel, they will strip the blue and plate the parts and give them back.

I had a STI pistol done in matte hardchrome and it was perfect.

I would suggest Robar in Phoenix. While not local they are one of the best and they are relatively close.
