Where to Find Good Ammo Selection in OC?
With the new laws, I'm having a had time finding higher quality ammo for my firearms. I have handguns that I want to test self defense ammo through and can't find much variety at all between Turners and Walmart. I also have a .270 and .243 that I want to eventually load for accuracy, but for now I'm looking for consistent ammo out of the box.
I was curious if anyone has recommendations for a shop in OC that has: 1. Good selection of defensive handgun ammo. 2. Good selection of higher end rifle ammo. |

I have not yet ordered like this. Do you know if they have an agreement with specific retailers, or will they do the transfer via any retailer that's willing to send it through them?

Their policies are on their website. I think SGAmmo will send it to them. The fee might be $20 or something.

LAX Ammunition Orange County in Huntington Beach has a HUGE selection of ammo and they are definitely the cheapest RETAIL store in OC. Look at their Yelp reviews and pics. They have about 50,000 lbs of ammo. They also have a good selection of primers, projectiles and powders.

Thanks for the recommendations. I went to Reload OC after figuring the only way to get the quality of ammo I want, is ultimately by reloading. Spent a while talking to Brian about how to get into reloading. Currently saving to get started.
Bought a few items I could afford to get started. Now I'm really saving up for basic case prep stuff, so at least I can process all of my once-fired brass, while I save for components. |

I'd suggest to PM ikeurb, the owner of Pacific Gunworks. He comes to South OC Shoot from time to time. He can help FFL for online ammo purchase and also sells supplies for reloading.
