Default One Item I Didn't Prepare!

Food -check!
Water -check!
Masks & gloves -check!
Cleaners/sanitizers -check!
Booze -check!
Guns, ammo -check, check!

Hair clippers - nope! Totally missed this one!

I did not anticipate needing haircuts during an emergency, I'm already getting shaggy and will probably be ordering some clippers soon.

I have seen too many haircuts given by barracks barbers. I'll wait until the pandemic is over to get a haircut.

I just got my hair a few minutes ago, my wife has been doing it since we got married, since she knows how I figure save the 20-25 and put it somewhere else. I have 2 sets of clippers just in case one breaks down, which I have had happen before, thankfully not on my head.

Two is one and one is none.

Beard trimmer works GREAT... if you don't mind a "boot camp buzz!"

During the 1918 pandemic, the barbers just moved their chairs outside and everyone wore masks.

You don't own clippers at all?!?!!??
I thought every "MAN" owns one set of clippers, even if a very old set, especially in THIS forum, there are probably friends that were prior .mil.

I did a little touch up on myself yesterday, and it shows...

That old guy in the mirror was giving me the creeps.

My wife is also well past her hairstylist comfort zone with no relief in sight.

Not only do I own an electric hair clipper, I also have a manual version...you squeeze the handles repeatedly to make the blades oscillate. Slow as hell but even if the power goes out I can still buzz my balding head.

Why get a haircut now? You might need another one before the shutdown is over.

Myself, as long as it's over by New Years when I usually get one, I'm fine.

I went to buzz-cut my head and beard yesterday and my hair clippers would not work.... ARRG... my GFCI outlet died. I could cut my hair somewhere else in the house, but don't want to make a mess.

I was too lazy to go down to the basement to get an extension cord at that moment, but I'll do so in a day or two so I can trim this mess up, and ordered a new GFCI outlet on Amazon.

Is that because they didn't stack enough, or jump on the TP wagon BEFORE the Zombies (D)?
