Default Looking to buy a pistol holster

I've been looking into the IDPA shoots and cant wait to try this. I need a holster and belt. What type of holster work best for these type of competitions? Any ifo would be appreciated. I have a .40 baby eagle.

For IDPA I'd recommend a quality kydex holster and mag pouch setup. You will need at least 2 mag pouches, either 2 singles or a double.

For the holster check out Bladetech or Comp-tac, they seem to be the most popular models out there for the shooting sports.

You want a sturdy and stable belt to support your gear. I'd recommend the Wilderness Original Instructor belt, particularly the 5 stitch model.
