This thread prompted me to go to the store today and buy an NFA complete lower for $109.00. I've never been there before today, the store is a little out of my way. I saw friendly, helpful guys behind the counter - answering the same dumb looky-loo questions the window shoppers LOVE to ask. No attitude, just helpful to every customer. They clearly called numbers, multiple times - absolutely nothing out the ordinary.
I waited over an hour for my turn in line (which is now the norm at ALL my favorite gun stores) finished my transaction in 15 minutes without any issues. I have no doubt that when I return in 10 days the experience will be the same Someone (op) has some serious personal issues....... Last edited by bill_k_lopez; 11-08-2012 at 3:23 PM.. |

Okay, went in tonight at 5:45pm, picked number 63 and before I ripped it off the ticket machine, they called number 63! I bought a Larue Costa edition and was out the door at 6:10pm. My salesperson was white and so was I! Imagine that. I even met John, an Asian gentleman who works there and he could not have been nicer. Everyone there was nice, asking me without prompting if I needed help while I was waiting for paperwork, etc. Great CS! Lots of very cool stuff on the shelves - Even that SCAR 17S I checked out. Now, if it was not so damm far away from me - Can you open one in the San Fernando Valley please Last edited by hiyabrad; 11-16-2012 at 9:02 PM.. |

i rolled into rifflegear 2 weeks ago to score a lula and some clp... i didnt know it was take a number for supplies...
it was 10:30am on a saturday... so i take a number and im about 30 in line... so i hang in the periphery and observe... there were 5 or 6 employees working the counter... i was amazed at the time they gave the customers and the patience they demonstrated... there were lotts o weapons going to jail and lotts o weapons getting outta jail... the customers ranged from expert gunners to first timers who have never held a gun... it was quite interesting people watching that morning... my 2 hour wait breezed by and i got a lula and some clp and was on my way... if i were in the market for a weapon or supplies in socal i would happily take a number and wait my turn at riflegear... from my observations they are 100% pro... butts i would still like to see the video... Being a round eye has never been an issue for me at RifleGear. Just the other day I took an upper in for some minor gunsmithing expecting there to be a 3 day turnaround, it made my day when the guy at the counter said it would be ready in 10 minutes, I need to mention this was a weekday. Weekends can be crazy however, so take your number and expect a wait, often people will leave before there number is called and the numbers will jump ahead quickly as they are called out.
Cheers, W-W

My first time there was on a Black Friday, lucky me made it there before the rush. The store was filled with customers waiting in line. The guy who helped me was Asian. Customer service was great, answered all my questions and was very patient, even allowed me and my friend to be served at the same time with our purchasing. Didn't rush us at all, a good model of what a gun store should be like.
+10 to you guys at rifle gear. |

Rifle Gear, leave your wallet at home
I figured out a way to prevent over-spending at RG. Similar to what I do when Costcoing (go in without a cart, buy whatever I can carry out with bare hands).
I leave my wallet in the car and bring enough cash to buy whatever I need to buy and high tail out of there prompto. This method has serve me well...... |

Fastkev is now claiming RG ripped off his momma.
This thread shall never die! Why? Because it's amazing.

Haha, bumping an old thread.
I was in Riflegear a month ago with my friend to buy his first AR (was a great day ) and to pick up something I bought online, and we went to Fry's to take a leak and came back and our number was passed. When they called the next number we told one of the guys and he took us no questions asked. I think he knew me as a regular though. The guy had no obligation to help us since it was our fault we missed our number, but he was cool about it. Never had any problems with attitude from RG. In fact, when I ask a question often other employees will overhear me and chime in. Very willing to help. |

Can't believe I read this whole thread and Carval 23 's thread, I need a life! but if you don't learn from other's mistakes you doomed to make them yourself. Now if I could decide to pull the trigger on buying a AR.

Buy yourself a lower now, avoid the registration deal in 2014. Unless you really need/want a complete AR, you can always piecemeal it sometime in the future.

Man I'm disappointed I had to read the whole 8 pages to see if the OP would apologize, guess not.
But I do agree with everyone here that Riflegear is awesome and top notch. Glad I drove over 70 miles to get to them for my Tavor, and I had no problems going back in 10 days to pick up. They were very prompt, attentive, and treated every customer in the same respectable manner both times I went there. |
