37mm......
Ok guys, here's an off the wall post.
I picked up this WWII British signal flare gun recently, complete with 15 vintage 37mm US flare canisters. This type signal flare gun was used on aircraft when returning from a mission to signal mechanical trouble, or casualties onboard. The gun was inserted into an aperatus in the fuselage, turned and locked in place. Hence the lugs on the barrel. Thought it was a cool thing to have and share. Mike,
