Default New Tyrant Designs mini Vert Grip

Hey guys, I'm the operations manager at Tyrant Designs CNC And I thought it would be worth mentioning that our new mini vert grip is now available for sale on our website. Thank you for the continued support we've gotten from the CALGUNS members.

Honestly, it doesn't look very comfortable. If I see one, I'll see how it actually feels in hand.

Here is one of your fellow Californians giving an unbiased review of our MiniVert. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course. If its not your speed then its not your speed.

It's almost never bad for the market when a company releases a product. The only exception to this being when a company releases something that is either or both illegal and/or dangerous to the end user.

The Tyrant Mini Vert doesn't seem to be either of these things (provided your rifle is maintained a legal configuration) so good on Tyrant for bringing something to market.

In terms of personal preference, it's not really my thing. I'm sure Tyrant took that into consideration when they R&D'd the grip. The market will decide whether there is a demand for such a product.

So its not unbiased. He was bought with (probably) free products
This is why i cant take youtubers seriously. Not a knock on you specifically but companies and youtubers as a whole that do this stuff. "Hey, if i give it a glowing review ill get MORE stuff! And MORE viewers!" And it worked, because you just linked his commercial so you both "win".

Its a cancer. Gun magazines were just the beginning.

I'm not saying that it doesnt exist, because it does. But if you see his other reviews on some of our stuff he does point out things that could be better. Its not a bought review.

Its simple, people with a following can help us the most. Therefore we ask them if they would like to do a review.

Remember, this is a business not a charity.

Honestly what kills/hurts this industry is the lack of innovation and progress. There are several key factors but one that is growing more and more is keyboard commandos bashing products, which leads to a herd mentality of others joining in on the bashing. Now, I'm not saying that its you but it is very common. No company is going to want to promote or even push the limits of innovation just to be lectured on the art of product design by some 12 year old that spends 40 hours a week playing Call Of Duty. Eventually, what will happen is we will all be stuck with the same polymer crap from only one company...

food for thought

How is your product innovative? Its a redesigned Fortis afg, which also frankly isnt innovative. Your reviewer says to put a finger through it. Hes clearly never run on uneven ground and tripped. Youd probably snap a finger. This is why some handgun retention classes have the triggerguard cut off of the blue guns. Ill admit im bitter about a bunch of milled out parts being touted as "innovative". Regarding keyboard commandos, yeah, they suck, but you also cant evaluate their experience based on their response. Calling someone who says anything negative a "keyboard commando" is the samw as liberals calling people bigots if they dont agree with them.

It seems weird to make parts out of metal that are traditionally polymer when the market is moving towards lightweight, skeletonized AR's.

And also no offering in standard picatinny?

Trying to have an objective discussion on the use of the term "innovative". Again, just because i have a negative opinion about a product, im the bad guy?

There's a difference between 'negative opinion' and 'snarky and sarcastic'.

How about a titanium handguard?

You've lost a small market share (at least in CA) due to the fact that what you're offering is a no-go for featureless builds.

That VFG though

Innovative or not; how many different ways can you make an aluminum VFG? Going forward, is every skeletonized VFG made going to be considered a "redesigned Fortis"?

If you don't like something then don't buy it. Frankly, I like choices in the marketplace, the more the better.
