Yes, the stock with pad came from a collection of Grand's ten years ago and there were two M1D's sold before I got there and I was told one was in a laminated stock. I bid on a small lot of stocks in a barrel and got six great ones two have sold here and I found the stock with pad wrapped in an old T-shirt. I also used one of the stocks in my last build in '08.

That MAS 49 has to be among one of the most visually pleasing military semi autos made! Wish I'd gotten one in 7.62 NATO.
