Default Finally got around to making some plinking 9's.

I have been fiddling with my .308 loads and shooting a lot of 9mm, so I started to run a little low on 9's.

Finally sat down and cranked out 4K of my favorite plinking load for 9mm.

4.9grs of Bullseye under a 115gr FMJ (a little over half Montana Gold, the rest PD), seated to 1.140", WSP.

39 rounds of .50 Beowulf using 300grn bullets, CCI magnum pistol primers, two flavors of AA 1680 and two of Lil Gun. We'll see which batches works best. (Damn, lost that last piece of once-fired brass at the range...)

I did 50 rounds of 45. 230 Grain Sierra's with a medium dose of Bullseye (4.6 grains). I have a lot of reloading to do, my range ammo supply has dwindled...

I'll be waking up early to do more...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday I loaded up 76 rounds of .20 VarTarg: a .221 Fireball case necked to .204 caliber. With 18.6 grains of Reloder 7 powder behind a Sierra 32 grain Blitzking, I'm getting right at 3451 FPS. Great barrel life (fast follow up shots dont even heat the barrel) and great ballistics as well! I love these small calibers.

Have a good day.

Left to right: .308 Winchester, .20 VarTarg, .22 Long Rifle

Nice photo, kmullins!

Yesterday, I cutoff and necked down the some 223 brass and trimmed to length followed by die forming to .300 BLK. Today I will clean, prime and load with W296 under 125 SMK projectiles from a bulk sale some time ago.

The 300 AAC Blackout is cheap to reload and versatile; uses standard magazines in an AR15 with just a barrel change. Accurate with low recoil and loads range from thumping 220 grain subsonic to 155 grain IPSC major!

Well, I gathered up a lot of my spent brass that was just all over the place, you know, bags here, bags there. Relabeled the bags with the lot numbers, then tumbled 500 pieces of 45Colt, and 350 pieces of 45ACP. Found that bag of about 2000 pieces of .223 that I had tumbled, resized and tumbled again then lost track of in the garage. Just did not feel like breaking out the Possum Hollow to trim them, so I loaded the 350 45ACP with 230gr LRNs over 4.4gr Titegroup and Remington 2 1/2s.

So all my wayward brass is neatly bagged and labled, and next time I will get that .223 prepped and the 45Colt stuff loaded.

Today I reloaded 50 rounds of 380 acp. After wondering where my brass went(yes I found it, it was in a plastic bag, I knew I had more than I found). I need more storage containers now.

95gn JHP
3gn Titegroup
CCI 500 small pistol primers
I have found this works well for my Bersa.

Loaded the rest of the 50lb batch of 12Ga, 716 rounds total. That is 10 more than my last batch so I'm getting better at not spilling the shot and powder all over the place. Loading shotgun is more of a pain than anything else I load, maybe because I don't do it that often. Now I need to learn how to do the buckshot loads.
