Ron has put together a nice shop! I've done a private party transfer and just purchased a 91/30 Mosin and foresee the rest of my future firearm purchases going through Armory Outpost. Ron is a pleasure to work with!
Go check his shop if you haven't already!

Thanks again for the plugs and kind words. I've enjoyed meeting each calgunner who has stopped by.

For the first time since working in a motorcycle shop some 35+ years ago, I'm trying to make a living doing something I love.

Great to hear you are a full on dealer Ron, I totally missed that was your objective when were setting up the shop (before the signage) and I was by to pick up a Garand a few months ago.

I just picked up a S&W 500 and wish I had been reading posts here so I could have worked with you.

I'll have to swing by tomorrow to see what you've done with the place.
Congrats!

LGS REPORT:

Had a great time here! Ron was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Had pretty good prices (bit lower than average LGS, bit higher than if you really hunted for a deal online) Had lots of 22 for decent price considering what everyone else wants for it.

Pretty much sold me on a Sheild in 40cal, just wish I had the cash to buy one.

Hands down the best experience I have had at a gun store in a long time.

I'll echo all the comments about a positive experience at this shop. It's hard to find, the signage is lacking, but it's worth it. I didn't have much money on me today but i'll be back next week.

Anyone interested in a M&P10, he has one at the best price i've seen anywhere, including online. And he has lots of .22lr....!

I am ashamed for not stopping by and I work on Fitzgerald Rd and live in Rancho Cordova. Do you do you off gun smithing work? I am looking to add some night sights to my Glock and possibly do a low profile gas block on my M&P15. I saw your store since day one even drove in to see if it was open but it was just getting up. Sadly haven't been in and I need too. Thanks.

Tim.

Just stopped by earlier to talk with Ron about purchasing a lower for my AR build and he was great to deal with. He's an extremely helpful guy who wants to help his customers. He is a Aero Precision dealer so that was a win for me. We ordered 3 lowers and Ron ordered 2 to keep in stock. Please keep him in mind when shopping and spread the word!

I was out shooting my Glock 29 and Shield 9mm this weekend! Both great guns and lots of fun to shoot - got them both from Armory Outpost for a lower price than the other local shops.

Here's a link to the Armory Outpost Facebook page.

https://www.facebook.com/armoryoutpostguns/

Looks like the website is still being worked on.

Pretty neat place. My neighbor rents space in the same complex for his granite counters business so he told me about it.

I popped in one day but didn't have much time to chat, I'll have to pop in again.

He's definitely one of the good guys and needs our support. Check it out and spread the word. Let him know what you'd like him to stock. He'll order what you want if it is out there and most likely a few for the shop's inventory. I'd choose to deal with Ron even if he wasn't beating the other local prices.

Transfers are fast, easy, and cheap.

I'll echo this as well. I have already ordered two pistols from him. He has been GREAT to deal with.

This link may help: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=940172

CA DOJ mandates the Dealer Fee for a PPT to $10.00 and the combined "DROS" fee(s) at $25.00

Just got back from visiting the shop. Ron is a really friendly guy. Spent a couple hours there with my girlfriend talking and looking at his supply. Ended up buying a sig 1911. He has really great prices on his guns AND supplies. Among the cheapest in the Sacramento area. It's a smaller shop but he's building his inventory. I highly recommend paying him a visit. It's my new go to shop

He has a cz75b sa in stock at the moment. I was shocked because I hadn't seen cz's in stock at any dealer for around two years. If you're looking for a cz you better hurry.

No doubt, it is a nice gun. I see some 75 BD's popping up now, but that SA is pretty rare. I want it. That 30 day rule is saving my wallet. Gotta prioritize.

The CZ in the case is my fault... I have always wanted one and Ron found three of them in stock at his distributor. I am stuck in 30 day hell as well... and so is my CZ.

Amazing, nice, friendly and very knowledgable guy. Ron is amazing. Went into his shop today and talked about me getting into AK. Showed me various types of AR he had and stories about his personal experience with the AK. Please go see Ron at Armory Outpost. Can't wait for us to do business soon and for years to come. Thanks Ron.

So what's the scoop on the AK's - is he getting some stock or did you find one online?

Just bought a Ruger 10/22 from Ron's shop. What an awesome place! He has excellent prices and selection. Really nice guy! He gave me valuable information as a new shooter and really helped guide me to the right purchase. The 10% off with purchase, cash discounts and ease of purchase is also awesome.

I will be going back soon. Just a cool guy to chat with. This is how LGSs are supposed to be.

Those finnish mosins too

10/10

Yeah that $439 Shield 9mm price was a while back when it was LOWER than anyone in town. Prices go up and down and Ron keeps an eye out and can usually go lower, if you see a lower local price just ask him.

His current CASH or DEBIT price has a 3% discount so it is more like $407.

I'm sure if you mention who's lower he will meet or beat that price. He always has with me.

Stopped by today and jailed a P38. Ron has an excellent stock and great pricing. Frendly atmosphere and a great stock of firearms. My kind of shop. I will be back and look forward the end of my 30day wait!

Ron is a stand up guy with stories galore! Super awesome to the little gal that came along with me today. She said, "The bald man with the colorful shirt is really nice..." lol.

I think I'll start having my lunches there and just hang out with the guy.

I would have to agree with everyone's post. When a friend and I walked into Ron's place, he greeted both of us and offered us something to drink as we looked around.

I had recommended him to another friend of mine and he has a couple of hand guns on consignment with him.

I highly recommend going over to check the Armory Outpost out.

Was this around 3ish? I figured that most people walking in there must be local CGNers by now lol.

Ron helped me get two stripped Hogue allen head grip screws out of my beloved P228 at no charge! That whole scenario put a smile on my face.

I also loved the fact that he gave me real time updates via text messaging. He's got his high-tech side locked down lol.

He's got excellent prices also. There's a Remington 700 in .308 for sub $500 FS there now. I'm considering it, but if one of you gets it first, I won't be mad. It'll help out Ron.

Go visit.

This is a great old school shop. I could spend all day in here except he would not get any work done. I picked up a S&W M&P 15 sporter today for the wife (her first semi auto) new for more than a fair price. There is quite a bit of stock for a smaller shop. Lets keep this guy going and shop in Rancho Cordova. He has taken the time to answer quite a few questions and helped with info on a transfer from a SoCal FFL on another rifle I won in a raffle. If you have time stop by and check his prices he's a great member of the 2A community.
