Glock 43. Trijcon sights.
Hey guys just picked my Glock 43 today and had my local shop install Trijicon night sights... The front sight is taller than the rears. The front sight is also taller than my Glock 26 and 17 fronts.
Is the normal? Did Glock design the 42 & 43 with taller fronts? |

I'm curious as well since i'm in the market for night sights for my G43's.
Which ones did you get, the 3 Dot night sights or the HD night sights? Did you get them from the Glock Store I assume? |

Do you know exactly what sights you bought, do you have the original package the sights came in? The stock G43 sight is not taller than the rear. So it should be the same relationship for night sights. Perhaps they just tossed in whatever they had laying around.

Definite possibility with The Glock Store as there are horror stories about them doing shady/suspect things as such.

Ok. So I just looked at the Tijicon website and infact their 42/43 front is taller than all the other models.
42/43 = 0.185 in All Other Models = 0.150 in Not sure why they did this. Maybe someone more familiar with Glock sights can chime in. |

Sorry for got to add. The sights came in the orginal package. I saw the sales manager take them off the rack with 5 more like packages. Walk over to where I was. And I watched him install. I've always been treated well at GlockStore.

Using calipers, I just measured my stock G42 sights:
Front is .165" off the slide Rear is .160" off the slide Just measured my Ameriglo Spartans on my G43 - exact same Front is .165" off the slide Rear is .160" off the slide So front is 5 thousandths higher. Imperceptible without calipers. Last edited by SkyHawk; 10-27-2016 at 5:31 PM.. |

Yes, and the front/rear relationship varies from their standard night sights to their HD night sights. You will have to expiriment with sight pictures and see what works. They may be set for more of a combat sight picture where the front dot covers the bullseye, where the stock Glock sights like to cut the bullseye in half.
