Default Fun Shooting Targets

First time at this range and I read through the rules, no steel targets, no cans, wood, glass, boxes, trash allowed. Fruits and veggies okay, so knowing this I still have a few concerns:
  • how creative have you guys been with taking your own stuff for plinking?
  • Would I be allowed to bring my own frame made of PVC/wood?
  • Are 2 liters filled with water okay?
  • Tannerite or exploding plastic bottles made by compressed air?
  • Balloons?
  • Bowling Pins?
  • Ex-Wives?
  • Donald Trump Targets? (I bet someone just smiled at the ex wife gag then frowned pretty hard when Trump was mentioned
  • Are the target rules more lenient in the private range pits compared to the public rifle/pistol range?

Really excited to go out there tomorrow and hit dirt and possibly get around to zeroing my sights!

They don't allow you to shoot anything with plastic either, what you can do is build your own pvc target and zip tie a cardboard to it, exactly how they do it, for 3 dollars or less, and then cut a small flap (in a V shape) so it can hold a clay pigeon, and shoot em, its fun over there compared to ASR because burro canyon lets shoot a little faster (rapid fire) hehe

yeah i just saw videos on how to make a basic pvc frame, even saw the flaps on cardboard help hold the clays.

that sounds like there needs to be more detail.

i have always taken my wood framed target stand. i mean wood frame stuff is the basic target stand one can have.

I usually take small melons and grapefruit and lay them on the burm at 200 yards. That's virtually the only problem I have with Burro. 200 yards gets old real quick.

Must be out of ca because even the dumbest calgunners knows tannerite illegal in ca. He hides his location so he can troll.
