Default Reno area FFL

Does anyone know of an FFL in the Reno area who would be willing to facilitate an interstate transfer (to a Ca FFL) between father and son?

Cabela's handles a lot of transfers to CA. Otherwise, I would try Mark Fore and Strike. If they had a problem doing it, I'd call a friend of mine who is good friends with the owner and see try to pull a few strings.

I bet Highpower790 can recommend one.

You could also try Franklin Armory in Minden.

Why do you need an FFL on the Shipping end?

For handguns, it can be cheaper to ship through a FFL IF the FFL's fees are low enough since FFLs can ship USPS. It is legal to ship direct, so you just need to find a FFL who is willing to accept a firearm from a non-FFL.
