If people are going to go to this clinic It will help if they say so on Face book.

Your 11 year old is welcome to observe. However, I would not recommend having him/her participate. The focus is on using the M1-Garand and that is not a good rifle to start a young person on. If you bring him/her we can talk about a more appropriate venue and course. Please feel free to contact me directly at info@brrc.org.

If you are planning to attend the BRRC Garand Clinic scheduled for this Sunday, February 26th, Please read on.
The forecast for rain this Sunday has put the club in the unpleasant position of waiting and seeing. Unfortunately the dirt road leading into the range may be difficult or impassable even with the ½” of rain if “chance” turns into “certain”.
We are going on hold until Friday evening.
The call will be made on Friday as whether to have the Clinic & Match on Sunday or to cancel. That GO or the NO-GO will be posted on Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club Face Book page and Calguns BRRC sub-forum Friday evening. If you would like to be notified by email, contact Ralph@brrc.org and let him know.
The club has a covered range for the event but it may not be fun getting cars stuck in the mud. So, please be understanding. We are trying to make the best decision on this.

Regards,
Mark

It’s only supposed to be light showers.

The BRRC CMP Garand Clinic is a GO!!!

Please keep vehicle speeds at or below 10 MPH on the dirt road.
The morning may be cold. The range is at 3000’ elevation. Layer accordingly.
This will be a most of the day event. Bring water and lunch. There is no water / concessions at the range.

Bring Hearing Protection, Shooting Glasses and a Good Attitude…

Hi everyone, this is Chris. Just wanted to let you guys know I had a great time and learned a lot about shooting high power and where my skill level was at. Even though it was a long drive for me to attend the clinic and to the fact that is was raining also; in the end everything turned out great. Wanted to say thanks to all the trainers and other offering their advice whenever I had questions....and if you did talk to me....you knw I asked a lot. Anways, a good group of people I met and hopefully I will be back again to shoot a real match
