Here are my 2 Cali Legal Fals (I have 2 more on the way)

The top one is my STG58.
The bottom on is an Australian L2a1
Both built on Imbel mfg. receivers.
Both were built by ARS (Arizona Response Systems).

My other 2 comming in are an Izzy Custom Carbine and a DSA L1a1 (will post pics when I get them in).

Enjoy

Nice set of Arsenals there!

The third one down with the 74 style brake, is it a 7.62?

Thanks,

By far Arsenals are my favorite, with Armory USA's a very close second.

The one on top is from Armroy USA.

Yup, it is a 7.62.

I installed a US mfg. 24mm 74 Brake made for 7.62.

Arsenal lists a 5.45 milled receiver gun, but I've never been able to find one.

Was just wondering if that was one.

I really dig my SAM-7 Carbine.

You and me both!!!

A very limited run, there were more .223 and 7.62 made.

I even know the owner at Arsenal inc. and he does not have any laying around...

I have a .223 Arsenal SA on its way to me, but it took me a couple of months to find one (that was not priced at $900).

I had a K101 in 5.56 and a SSR-99 in 7.62x39 back in the day.
Course, that was when i was living in Washington State

I haven't shot the Arsenal yet but it's definitely built very well. I should take it out the next time I head out to the range and get it sighted in.

The Vector is a pretty nice rifle too. I went with them because they provide a 5 yr warranty and I've only heard good things about their rifles.

Cool, I have heard good things about Vector also.

I will check them out, I just love to have some variety in my collection

Yeah, right at around $700 a pop, the rpk was $900.

I almost skipped on the rpk, but I am sure glad I changed my mind at the last minute.. When my dealer received it, he and everyone in his shop were just in awe, they really loved it... Beautiful rifle and nicely built.

I will provide a range report soon when I get her out and break her in.

I can tell
I picked up the Arsenal first and wanted more variety too, so I went for a more traditional looking AK with slant brake, slanted gas block, and wood furniture. Looking at your Arsenals, I kind of want another one . Actually I think I'm done with semi auto rifles for now and my next rifle will prob be a nice bolt action.

Where do you go to shoot by the way? It would be cool if we Southern California Calgunners could have a get-together.

I hear that.

I am working on obtaining a Rem 700 in .338 Rem Magnum with a Weaver scope, gray laminate stock, in the Rem Satin Silver finish, barrel drilled muzzle brake and custom trigger work... Will post pics soon.

She is used, but only shot several times during a hunting trip, and I know the guy who is selling her.

So far I have 2 Ewbanks ak's built and 1 armory USA ak built all by me. I must say after the first and second ones the third one (the armory usa) was pretty easy. Just took me one day (or rather half a day) to demill and one day put together. All rivets except front upper four holes which I udrived. Shot one already and works perfect. Just need to try my other two...heck man lets have a Southern California ak get together at a local range.

BTW I still have an ak-74 receiver to build up on...2 or 3 just isn't enough...heck man now I want an rpk!

I have a Polish Tantal being built (should be done end of November if all goes well) and a Polish AKM being built on new Armory USA 1.6mm receivers.

In fact the rifle on top is an AK47 built on one of the new Armory USA 1.6mm receivers using a Bulgarian kit.

I really like their new receiver, funny how .6mm makes the receiver feel more solid almost like a milled receiver.

BTW, where did you find the AK74 kit?
PM me and lets discuss.

Be careful, I believe the SSR and SLR Arsenal rifles are listed.

The SA and SAS models are ok.

Get one before they are gone, Arsenal Inc. is not currently producing the SA and SAS models and only plan limited runs in the future.

In the pic, the very top rifle is an Armory USA SSR85C2. I have 2 of these now and 2 more being built. I have one woody, another being built on a Polish kit with laminate wood.

Really well built and rugged. They use either Bulgarian or Polish Kits currently.

That looks like an Imbel gear logo...

Yep, that's what I thought too. I'm not sure if JLD used to use real German furniture on their older guns or not.

Can anyone tell me more about that grip: Is that from an HK91 or G3? I've seen a few of those grips for sale, but they didn't have the steel protrusion with holes for the retaining pins.

To illustrate, compare these two trigger groups:

Notice that the plastic one has a steel protrusion to the rear with holes in it where the retaining pins keep it locked into the gun: the G3 "SEF" trigger group does not have this, so how does it stay locked into the gun, and how would it fit onto a PTR?

Also, does anyone know if the real HK buttstocks had real rubber recoil pads?

Thanks
