I support from within. I also criticize when necessary from within. My personal disagreement with a candidate they supported. Does not in my reckoning. Negate all the good they do in support of 2A. Especially in the courts.

I'm aware of Payne's legal problems. And his relationship with Sniff. But as Kes already pointed out. This is the CRPA forum. And those issues are better discussed elsewhere. And are now irrelevant due to election results.

I will also still give future support to the NRA. Advocacy for one 2A candidate, even thought not my first choice. Over another that I consider a better candidate. Will not deter me from continued support. Nor does it undo all the good work that NRA does in the entire country.

We must assuredly STAND TOGETHER, or fail separately.

We contribute a bunch to the NRA-ILA, and we request all $$$ to go to NRA efforts in California, H.Paul Pain or whomever...it does not matter.

That said, NO more $$$ to CRPA. Their collective inability to explain why they prefer an incumbent to a challenger, OR vice versa, is what bugs me.

Asking a simple question, and getting silence in return is not, IMO, treating me or anyone else as a member and / or a contributor.

Still on the fence. Lots of arguments both ways, I truly want to support anyone that helps our cause, but have an issue with an organization that won't even respond to its contributing members. NRA is nation wide, so I can somewhat understand how they may miss something, but an organization dedicated to California, not listening to Californians makes me leary about writing that check.

I have been employed by RSO for over 20 years, been a NRA member over 30 (life member) and a long time CPRA member. After CPRA's dishonest endorsement in this race, I will not be renewing my CPRA membership.

I am a little tired of all or nothing mentality. We need every bit of leverage we can get for at least the next four years. Walking away doesn't fix the problem, although it might help your hurt feelings. You change things by getting involved and it usually works best if you on the inside forcing that change. CRPA has more than earned the $30.00 a year we send them. The court cases, training, etc, do a lot of good. Yes I disagree with their endorsement. Yes I voted for Bianco. Yes I will continue to try to fix what I disagree with and yes I will continue to be a member.

Johnny, thank you for your service to the good citizens of RivCo. And your long time membership and support of NRA/CRPA.

With that said, I cannot agree with the "dishonest" adjective. I truly believe "misguided" would be a better fit.

If you, me, and every other 2A loving citizen who supports NRA/CRPA. Allow our support for the 2A to narrow to the point of only focusing on issues that personally affect us, our jobs, or the county/city that we work and live in. We are doing a grave disservice to the overall 2A cause we hold dear.

As a current CRPA member. Please take the time to read the "FIRING LINE" page after page of listed court and legislative battles the CRPA FIGHTS FOR THE GOOD OF ALL CITIZENS IN CA.

Those battles can only be fought if "We the People" continue our support for those that are forefront in the fight, here in ALL OF CA. And that, here in Ca, is the CRPA.
