They are indeed open. Was there earlier this week having one of my dad's guns checked out. I can't personally vouch for the guy's gunsmithing as I haven't had anything done yet, but I was told that it's very good. I can tell you that they were incredibly helpful and took the time to explain everything to me, which given that I know next to nothing was quite a feat in and of itself.

I just called them and they are open on Western Avenue in Stanton. They are called West Coast Gun Works. The two guys I spoke to were Mark and Brad both were very nice and very helpful.

West Coast Gun works is now located at 11360 Western Ave Stanton. A very friendly shop with fair pricing and great turnaround time. They treat you like family.

Do they do work on lever action guns? Got a Marlin 1894c that needs an action job.

They did extensive work on my PTR 91 ... in 2 day's time ... Bolsa wanted 3 weeks! They added Trijicon sights to my Glock 17 and thoroughly cleaned the Glock and 3 other handguns. Great work, great prices, great people.

Dropped off my Shield with them for an Apex trigger kit, feed ramp polishing, and Trijicon night sights at 3pm. Was done the next day at 11am! Great pricing, quality work, and great guys. Just dropped off my mosin to get the barrel shortened, and have my BG gunstock installed with an RSI scope mount and Timney trigger.

They are definitely there... i went and did a ppt the other night. Really nice people and it was a really easy transaction. I dont know any other price details but to pin and weld a stainless brake on a stainless barrel is $35 and a week to deal with the back log ahead.

Had my revolver worked on. They forgot to torque the scope mount back to spec but mounted the scope on it. I fired it assuming it had been completely reassembled and damaged my mount, rings, and the reticle on my Leupold spun. Had to send it in to Leupold to be rebuilt.
Was told great things about this shop but they let me down.

There was another thread here where someone got substandard service and attitude. Someone else said it was fine. Really I have no interest in them. Do they sell guns?

Ive use Mike for a couple years now and will keep using him, had one problem with a Glock 17 that i ordered a race kit and trigger kit from other co, he went beyond trying to make it right, finally he pulled the trigger kit and played with some hotter loads and made it work, hes helped me with multiple ARs and did some very nice stimple work on my M&P Shield.

Im going to take a few guns there to get worked on later in the week so i will check back when that is all said and done. I have done 2 ppts with them and they are by far the quickest and best place to do a ppt at.(IMO)

Went there with my 1911 did not have very good service, brought the gun into mike for sights and 10.8 guid rod and ed brown maxi well. Sights looked good but they scrubbed off the trijicon lettering on the sight bent my maxi well, and replaced my guid rod with some gi standerd one and took mine for them self's. If you look at it it looks like its been shot in a gun with 30,000 rounds not my clean one I saw in the package. Quoted me 60 and had to pay 120 I will not be doing work with these guys.

Thumbs up I recommend AK work at West Coast Gun Works

They have done 4 or 5 repair and upgrade orders for my 2 AK variants. Everything I have experienced with their shop is excellent. (Knowledge, Turn Around Time, Friendly, Customer Service & most importantly the quality of work).

They are doing an FFL new purchase for me this weekend.
Owners are Mike & Natalie.

Stoked to find these guys!!

They mistook the LPA sight mount on the wife's Springfield for Novak. How does a gunsmith make this kind of error? He ordered the sights and took the gun. Didn't answer calls even on the day I went and got the gun back. I'm still out my deposit.
