Default ASC for pistol transfer?

Has anyone used ASC for doing a transfer? I have a C&R and COE and the pistol is a C&R. Any input is appreciated.

I used Gunfighter Tactical for a out of state purchase. I highly recommend them. Very pleasant to deal with. Friendly, polite, professional. Excellent customer service.

I avoid ASC like the plague for any sort of reason. Absolutely garbage as far as customer service goes.

I would use anyone but ASC for a transfer.

Gunfighter Tactical is towards the top of the preferred list.

Excellent guys, thank you very much. Last time I was at Gunfighter, it was still WiserOwl.

I was the buyer in a PPT this weekend for an off roster pistol. I called and asked if that was a problem and they said no.

I was told that if there were paying customers they would be handled first... i had read about that.

I met the seller, test fired the pistol and proceeded with the transfer.

It did take up to 15 minutes as they were helping the other customers.

Can't say the process was quick after it started but they weren't rude and got the job done.

There's signs in the shop that warn you you will wait and be last if doing a ppt. I was in there Sat no attitude and I was seriously considering buying one of the guns. I wouldn't mind waiting if doing a ppt within reason.

I think CA law states if forced to wait beyond 2 hours it constitutes a refusal. Or is that just a DOJ opinion? I also went to SoCal gun. Sucks they don't open until 11 and prices were so high I was embarrassed for them. I did like the animal mounts and skins though.

Default ASC for pistol transfer?

I love ASC but they wouldn't be my first choice for a ppt per comments above.

I can't say enough good things about GFT

Everything went well. Those guys are great. They took the time to figure it out without attitude or giving up. Dealing with a C&R pistol, me having a C&R and COE, it was a learning experience. I'll definitely be going back there...thanks for all the input!!!
