I just have an issue that the "Range" does not allow steel (which actually I am fine with good guns deserve good ammo) but also does not allow you to pick up your own brass. Seems to me one or the other, no steel cool; so I can pick up my own brass? Ah no you can't do that either - so we make sure all the cartridges are reusable/re-sellable - okay well played but again with ammo prices and availability with where it is those rules make it a less desirable place for me to go and shoot - which is a shame because I live less then a mile from them.

And they don't allow you to shoot 22.

Again perhaps Riverside County/Beaumont has different enforcement of rules than San Bernadino/Rancho Cucamonga.
I've shot 22 there plenty of times

Just found the thread. Wanting to shoot steel core outdoors. Count me in. I don't have any targets to offer. But I'll help setup/cleanup.

http://www.hdrgc.com/

From there web site.
Steel Core Ammunition:
Please check your ammunition Bullet Head with a magnet to see if it contains any ferrous (iron) material, if the magnet sticks it contains iron and can not be use at our facility. Steel core ammo is not allowed at our range due to the risk of fire from a ricochet and igniting the surrounding vegetation. Most Russian and Eastern block manufactures produce this ammo. Some brand names to avoid: Wolf, Tula, Golden-Brown-Silver Tiger, Mosin Naugant, anything Bear ect. Thank You for your cooperation.
