Being new to reloading, part of the hobby is learning the abbreviations.
HP, COL, ? I do know OAL (over all length)
I will be loading 38/357 also.

I haven't reloaded for a number of years, and due to the economy I'll probably be starting up again. The big question I have right now is where do most of you guys get your supplies. I used to reload 44mag mostly, but Ill be including 40 S&W as well as 45 ACP now. I live on the High Desert and finding bullets, powder, and primers as well as dies is pretty much impossible. Internet sites aren't much better, always out of stock. Since I've recently spent a small fortune in holsters and other supplies I don't see me investing in reloading anytime soon, but I'd like to get my ducks in a row.

Any advise is welcome.

David- welcome, first thing to realize- reloading is it's own microcosm. Don't get overwhelmed. Second, look on CL, Calguns, midway, etc. to find a press/setup. Third, realize supplies are lacking right now most places but there are plenty of people selling/trading so it isn't impossible to come by. Fourth, between books, the internet, and individuals, there is no lack of tutorial training.
