No fraud charges yet but if I happens, I'll know if it was Cabelas or not. I used one of those generated cc numbers that was only used at Cabelas.

Ordered around 1AM.. first the 22 then the 223 a few minutes later. (didnt know the 223 was available). Next day they said both were backordered. the 223 wasnt gonna ship till the 25th. Checked today, and found out it shipped this afternoon... pleasant surprise. no word on 22 though, and as of now my cc is uncompromised.

Oh wells... hope the .22s will actually ship.

Just checked online and both the 9mm and .22 shipped in two separate packages. One of the UPS trackng numbers already show it leaving SLC and the other with a label created - presumably the .22.

Knock on wood - no suspicious charges on the card yet, but will keep any eye on the cabela card.

My M-22 order has been in-process for a couple of days now and the charge has also been pending on my card for a couple of days. Hopefully that means it is shipping soon since they don't charge your card until it ships. My CC has no unauthorized/unknown charges on it either, though I will be keeping a closer eye on it for a bit.

No fraud charges on mine, but I removed the credit card from my profile just in case.

Those of you who had the "NNG*NING INC,650" charges, do you have any other shopping venues in common? Not saying to post where you shop, but maybe PM each other to see if there are any other sites besides Cabella's in common with each other.

Wow sorry to hear about the credit card probs for some. These orders have become like a day time soap. Some of my friends got cancels reccently others shipping and does not seem to be linked to when orders where place.

Its almost like the drew names out of hat. Odd too some who got back order notices called to cancel and said it shipped? 0,o Some of my other friends called and got same story that they had no ammo and none will ship. I like Cabellas but these orders seem to have gone haywire.

I ordered 38spl rem umc on 5/16 that was "in stock". Email confirmation received after order was placed states back ordered 6/14. Well, I check Cabelas today and it shows "in stock". Live chat with customers service reps goes like this:
Me: 38spl rem umc in stock?
Rep: yes
Me: why is my order placed on 5/16 showing backordered then?
Rep: researching
Rep: its in process and will be delivered to you 3-6 business days
Me: have a nice day

My wife had her Walmart account hacked a few months back. They used her cc toward unauthorized purchases on Walmart.Com. They purchased some Tmobil minutes and applesauce. Luckily we caught it. It was after hours so the order wouldn't have been fulfilled until the following day. We had a cc saved on Walmart's site. Never store your cc.

I did purchase an m4 carrier from ice arms. I called my cc company last night and they showed the cabalas order was the last to go through. So they did charge my card even though, I've not received a shipping notice. Don't understand that because in the e-mail, it said my card will not be charged until shipped. Also they told me they are still trying to use my card number frauduantly. They tried to make a purchase for 85.00 and it was attempted from Nagul(not sure how to spell it), Indonesia

Yea that while we don't charge is stupid because the funds get with held from acct so it's like they are charging because I don't have access to funds

My CC info was stolen just last week. So is it Cabela's that is having a security leak?

the first 2 fraudulant charges were only for 1.00, then they went big after that. Why would they only attempt 1.00 charge than go big after that? Why not go big from the get go? Also it has to be Cabela's. We ALL have the same simularities

The $1 charges are always to see if the card is valid/active and to see if a larger charge will go through after.

They (thieves) do small, $1 charges to make sure the account is active and that their larger charges will go through. A lot of people (most?) won't notice a $1 difference in their account off-hand, so then the thieves know your card is still GTG, and Boom!

Got ninja'd, lol

My guess would be that while they were doing a system upgrade their system did not have all the security features enabled allowing a hacker to do a SQL injection. They were able to gain access to the stored CC info database and extract the info. The numbers were then tested to see if they were still active by doing the $1charges. The active numbers were then sold on the underground black market.

I think the potential common key is wally world .com - my opinion only. I've had one of my cards compromised shortly after using it on wally world .com. Read on a few different forums that the Wm site gets hacked quite a bit.

Haven't been back to that site ever since.

Hi, first time to post on this site. I ordered a box around on the 16th and so my buddy did it after midnight, so on the 17th. his order went through last night, yet mine didnt. So i do agree with the sir on top who stated Cabelas might be drawing names out of a hat. I didnt store my cc, and havent had any charges on it lately. Hope this helps.

It had nothing to do with wally world (I'm assuming that means Wal-Mart.) It was Cabelas, and ONLY Cabelas.

My card was NOT stored on cabelas site.

I called them to day and told Customer Service the deal. He transferred me to their fraud department and all he could tell me was "well it wasn't a cabelas card so your credit card company will deal with it". I told him my credit card company already saved me, but what are you going to do about your security leak. He had nothing to say.

Mine was compromised too. Got a call from Visa tonight to let me know that someone had tried to place two dubious charges on my credit card. I have/had my info stored with Cabelas and like so many other people had placed an order for the 22LR ammo last weekend. Coincidence, I think not....

So what time did everyone place their orders?
Those who had their cc compramised and those who didnt.
Maybe its just happening to some who placed an order between a certain time?
I placed my order on May 16th at around 12:10 midnight..... Havent had any fraud charges on my CC so far and hope it stays that way.
Should be receiving my ammo tomorrow.... Unless UPS somehow looses my ammo.

I ordered @ 4:30 am May 16. 4 boxes of Rem 9mm and 1 box of the win 22 1k. After reading all the drama about the site crashing I called them on Monday as my acct showed backordered and sat stale. The lady told me July on the 22 shells and Aug on the 9mm or vise versa can't remember. The lady thanked me for being a loyal club card member and said many orders have been canceled by buyers. I Left the order open. They charged my card today and I received a tracking number for the entire order. We will see.

My acct at anytime wasn't tampered with.

Man that sucks. I had mine stored as well, but deleted it once i heard about this. I might have the bank issue me a new card just incase. Maybe others should as well even though we didnt get any fraud charges on ours.
Just to be on the safe side.

Well I just got a call from CapitalOne and there was two charges on my credit card for Walmart.com for the same amount. Thing is I can't remember the last time I used this card and I believe it was on file with cabelas.

Wish I was like some of the others who at least have ammo on the way.
