Default Better Choice for 30-06

Which of these is better for mid range hunting for use in a Weatherby Vanguard 30-06??

Primary Arms 4-14X44 Mil Mil FFP Scope

or

Primary Arms 4-16X44 Illuminated Mil Dot Scope

I was concerned the recoil of the 30-06 may be an issue?

Thanks PA!
