Default S. San Francisco "Shoot & Meet"

Trying to find out who would be willing to meet up at Jackson Arms, San Francisco... at a regular basis to do what we love to do. Shoot our guns.

As Jackson Arms can get busy during the weekends. I was thinking about setting something up during a weekday night. Depending what is best day/time for those interested.

PM me if interested with which day and time would be best for you.

If we can gather together once month and make it a regular event. That would be great to exchange stories and firearms knowledge with each other. especially, noobs like me who just started shooting and slowly collecting firearms.

Everyone is welcomed to attend. Just an event with like-minded people.

not a bad idea but i probably will "pass" as i'm not smitten with Jackson Arms and its over an hour away. sort of my problem with any night time activity. its a long drive home on mountain roads. weekends i'm usually busy. if you end up with a week day free, though, i might be convinced to make the drive.

If this catches on. Very good possibility that even on a random holiday (Labor Day, etc) could do an event.

Just trying to gauge the interest of something like a once-a-month event.

The hardest part is getting teh right day of teh month and time of teh day that best suits those interested.

Never been there, but people have mentioned Chabot or Richmond Rod & Gun.

Again, it really depends on what folks want to do. Personally, San Jose and Vacaville ranges are a bit too far for me. As anyone who lives in the Bay Area... Traffic is such a hassle..

So, for those interested..

Location: Jackson Arms @ 152 Utah Ave
Ste 140
South San Francisco, CA 94080

Day: Thursday

Time: 7:00pm (1900hrs)

What to bring: handguns and shotguns of choice, ammo (as Jackson Arms might be out of stock)

After-Action Report: (my fancy way of saying maybe grab some food afterwards) Big Mouth Burgers @ Bayhill Shopping Ctr
851 Cherry Ave, Ste 19
San Bruno, CA 94066

Note: Please send me a PM, so I have an idea how many can make it. As for Tuesday "NRA" night, I'll try to set something up before the month is done. All depends on my ammo status.

I avoid the city if at all humanly possible(only while younger was modeling and when Elder comes home to OAK or SFO) and living in Fairfield, Vacaville and Yolo Sportsman is where we shoot so I won't be joining but one of these days when the planets align and the stars are all in the right place I hope to meet up with some fellow CG ladies!

For those that can makei it next Thursday. We can easily decide there. Where folks want grab a quick meal. Hooters & Big Mouth are pretty much the same distance. I suggested Big Mouth because it usually isn't too crowded. Hooters might be a bit crowded. BJ's Bar & Restaurant @ Tanforan could be another spot.

Thanx for the heads up...

Man I LOVE BJ's! Their adult Root Beer Floats are amazing(but not while carrying FYI). I have no idea what they are made with but I could drink 6 and then stand up and go "Damn, my legs don't work???" LOL
