Do my eyes deceive me, or is there no MSH on this gun? Looks to me to be a solid frame that was checkered.

The MSH checkering was extended to the frame. It is deceiving. The line between the MSH and the frame is hidden in those vertical grooves. Nice work huh.

Another view of a quality of work you don't see often.

To paraphrase Bill Engvall, "No, that's not nice, THAT'S AWESOME!" I had to lean really close to the screen to even pick up the faint line of where the MSH is. That's some high quality work. Was the frame checkered to match, or was a smooth MSH checkered in place?

The work was done back in '93. IIRC a smooth SH was used and the checkering done of a piece.

Another point of interest that can be seen in these pics is that the Bo-Mar installation was done right. The rear of the Bo-Mars do not overhang the rear of the slide. Often you see them installed and they overhang by quite a bit interfering with access to the hammer, that's not the case with this gun.

No, I got it. Although one would have preferred the saying to be lightened a little, with a smily face, or another few words like "I'm jealous", or "Nice pair" or something...

One of the hardest things to do in generalis to ask a person to read another person's intention or emotion. Especially on the internet.

All in all, no problem. I was not offended and was just mildly. slightly tickled. I got over it.
