Yup, CA considers your gun guilty of a crime when you firs buy it, so in jail it goes for 10 days.

Just started my Benelli M4 today. I just don't think about it and the next thing I know, it's been 10 days.

I just got my marlin 795? and .22 bolt action out of jail

I still have a .22 LR NAA revolver on layaway", i think I have 2 more weeks before I can start my next DROS

I hate california

At least when/if my C&R license and certificate come through I can buy more than one pistol per month.

Just a taste of freedom

I got a couple lowers in jail, can pick it up this weekend but FFL is out of town, earliest I can pick up is August 20th, it'll be a 17 day wait (total). I am also starting a DROS the same day on a SA 1911 Loaded Stainless...sigh

sadly....I'm about to lock up my new (to me (less than 300 rounds, 100 of which was from me)) sig 229 in .357sig in jail. I just gotta go down to the gunshop and get the transfer information to give the sending FFL to my local FFL.

Sigh...my daddy can't even give me a birthday present without complicating things! Stupid federal interstate laws!! Stupid california 10 day wait!!! argghhh

I dont fully understand the 10 day jail period for existing firearms owners :T

I have an AR lower, a kahr cw9093, and a remmy 770 going into dros on friday. I dont like having to wait for my toys but won't fight the power.

I agree, if the 10 days were meant as cooling off period, it doesn't make sense if you already have guns.

I'm picking up an M&P 45 tomorrow. It will be joining P226 9mm, P226 Equinox .40 cal, LMT CQB MRP, 700P, and M&P 15/22.

Picked up my P220 yesterday and shot roughly 120-130 rounds through it. My aim is horrible, the gun feels awful nice.

Picked up my Colt 1911 XSE Stainless Steel today...Was worth every penny ($950) for it. Simply beautiful. Pics this weekend. I have shot a blued one for a month and it was a shooter. Thank you Turners...I was extremely well taken care of...Got a handgun case for 4...$99...Asked for a discount due to my volume...Said sure. Got $10 bucks off that. Manager told me next time you need anything else come in and I will take care of you again.

Buy in volume get volume pricing.

Go rent a .22 pistol/rifle and let her have some fun. I took my wife out with a .22 and she wanted the 9mm instead because the .22 was boring..

She doesn't enjoy shooting like I do, but she should, she's a great shot.

Tikka T3 Lite .270 Win (my first hunting rifle)
Remington 11-87 (my first shotgun)

And BATFE has cashed the check for my FFL03, so I'm hoping that will come through soon.

Just broke my cz-75 SA out of the penalty box; next up for the 10-day treatment are a WWI "1918" reproduction Colt 1911 (black oxide finish) and a newish Colt Delta Elite 10mm.

I am excited to shoot them all, but not sure what I want to part with --- with a new kid at home I am striving to keep my collection "revenue neutral" these days.....

M&P 45 out of jail today and straight to the range.

Managed to pull the groups tighter in the last 10 shots. Center target.

No, it just means I should sell three guns to offset the new purchases. It's more of a guideline, anyway...
