Trying to find a CZ 75 SP-01
Looking for a CZ 75 SP-01.
No one has one. There is a CA legal one, but they are out of stock everywhere. Speaking of which, tons of handguns in CA seems always out of stock. What's going on? How did it get to this point? I did put some reminders on many popular sites with the SKU. Here is the gun from the DOJ roster: CZ 75 SP-01 01152 / Steel, Poly Pistol 4.7" 9mm 1/1/2017 Guess I'm hosed? Can't CZ just recognize demand and sell more CA ones? Money is money right? |

Funny you mention this, I was just at the range/gunshop and I was talking to the clerk about SP-01s and he told me almost everytime they get a shipment of 3-4, they sell within a few days.
I'm currently out of state, I see one every now and then but they seem to be selling a lot. Sorry OP doesn't help your situation but thought I'd mention it. |

I have one on order from Turners. Was told it could take up to 4-5 months before it comes in. Ordered about a month ago. I figure it will be my Christmas present to myself this year.
I have seen a couple come up for sale on here as well, but they don't last long. |

I shoot mainly at DGM in Santee and they told my son (who wants one as well) that when they come in they sell out very quickly.

Try reeds in san jose they had a few when I bought my p01 back in June. Also when I talk to the guys at Target Master West in Milpitas, they had said something about the "cz plant" going under construction so they put out what they have but it ain't much.

Funny thing is, I haven't even fired mine yet. While I was waiting to DROS it, I saw a P226 for sale in the marketplace, jumped on it, and haven't even brought the SP-01 to the range yet. |

Every summer they sell like hot cakes, just wait a bit and they will be back to the 600 dollar mark again, i know, cause thats how its been the last couple of years.

Like someone mentioned above Coyote Point Armory in Burlingame typically has them. Got mine there in May. Mine was the non Cali version so both mags were blocked to 10 rounds which was fine with me.

In Butte County, my Favorite LGS got three SPO1 on Monday, all were gone by Friday (one to me, one to my buddy, and another guy).
Prior to this we were waiting months for a weapon to pop up. The guns are worth it. I have fired about 800rd since July, my buddy bested me by 400 rds. Have not found a round it doens not like. Mec gar makes great inexpensive reliable mags for it. As said above, they do come in batches. TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. My LGS has, apparently, a license to modify pistols-basically find a model with 17rd mags, ship it to him, he can install 10rd mags and sell it to you all legal like. Forgive my ignorance for the actual nomenclature, but he does it all within legal realms (most local PD purchase from him). If you would like the details please PM me. Good luck in your hunt! |

Popular items move quickly and some LGS will take deposits and put you on a wait list (they may or may not move their best customers to the top of the lists).
Have you asked about placing a deposit? |

Lazo Firearms in Gilroy has a bunch of CZ, including the SP01.
The SP01 is going for around $735-ish there. New gun store so google may or may not bring it up for you.

1) I will sleep at Lazo's door to get that $68 SP01.
2) Targetmasters West in Milpitas regularly gets CZs. With a deposit down they will hold it and contact you when it comes in. No obligation to purchase. Last edited by manini; 09-11-2016 at 3:52 PM.. |

LOL, my bad.
Seriously though, he has CZ in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. He has a pretty good selection of CZ.

I bought one on a whim. A Guy I used to be friends with worked at my LGS had one on layaway and shot it, the manager told him he needed to pay it off because he had too many on layaway and wasn't paying them off so he asked me if I would buy it, I didn't know to much about it but it felt good, now Im a fan boy

I should see mine within a week or so.
Can't wait to see what all the hype is about.

This is false, i put money down on an item cuz they sold out, I was told if I didn't want it they would refund the $100 because it's popular. But the actual policy is if it comes in you'd have to buy it or pay a 20% restocking fee. Or if you catch them in a good mood you can move the money down on another firearm that they sell. Great store tho. Good prices, and great service besides the incident above.
