Technically not the same gun buy close enough...
Ruger SR9 (2-tone) Ruger SR9c (all black) Mainly because they share the same magazines, firing pins, springs, etc. ...and since I have spare parts, might as well have spare parts for 2 pistols. Currently eyeing a GP100 3", mainly because I already have a 6". I regret getting the SS 6" though, since the 3" only comes in SS. |

I think you have to be logged into the hipoint forum to see that picture, the rest of us can't see it

Pistols with duplicates: a few 17s, a few 19s, a few VP9s and a couple of P320s. It's probably overkill but for whatever platform I ultimately decide to carry long term I'll have a carry gun that will be carried a lot and shot rarely, a gun shot a lot and carried rarely and a backup.

Yep, I have duplicates, triplicates and sometimes more of several different firearms for various reason. Here are three of the same gun that I bought at the same time:
I've purchased two Rem 700s in the same DROS before. One was a LH BDL in .270 for hunting and the other was a SPS for precision shooting. I have more than a few ARs and AKs along with pairs of nylon 66s, COPs, single sixes, '94s, K31s, 10-22s, 11-48s, 500s, etc.

I have a Beretta 92FS and a 92G-SD. I liked my FS so much I bought the "G" version which has several upgrades to it. Now if we want to talk about multiple long guns and AR-15's...

YES That's exactly where I'm at except I haven't yet gotten my 92G-SD, but it is absolutely on the next-to-buy list!

lol, neither did I, but maybe someone would've, and he probably wouldn't have noticed it didn't show up for the rest of us if someone didn't say something. Thank me later

I actually wanted to see it. Most people wouldn't care but I believe thise nickle models are rare. I have 4 HiPoint products but all are different. I really couldn't pass up the 45 carbine for $150 or the Haskell pre HiPoint 45 for $100. Both work fine.

Hi-points have a purpose... if it wasn't for the 1-in-30 thing, I'd probably go buy a dozen and toss one in each of my backpacks just to be sure I always have "something". There's nothing really wrong with them, other than being butt ugly.

I do not own any, nor have I ever fired one. However, if you research the story behind how Hi-Point came to be and it's business philosophy, you may find it an interesting read.

I already have a Kimber Custom II, and won another one in a NRA fundraiser. These will probably go to the grandsons when they get older. Also, have a couple of 10/22s for them now...

I've got at least two of everything that I like. Generally, I'll buy something, and if I think it is a good gun, I'll buy another to keep stored away. Sometimes more than one more. Anyone who has lived through the '80s and kicked themselves for not doubling up on the guns that they loved and disappeared from the marketplace will understand my hoarder mentality.

If you count all US property marked 1911-A1's as the same even if they are by different manufacturers, then I have three that are identical.
I also have three S&W Combat Masterpieces, dunno why, it just seemed to work out that way |

2 S&W 686's....different barrel lengths
2 Mossberg 500s....one tactical, one not 2 Ruger 10/22s....why not? Would gladly have other duplicates, but I always seem to find something new I need |
