Default Glock 22 pistola

There is an article in the new Guns magazine that is about a new 22 cal. semi handgun from Glock. I have never had the urge to purchase a Glock but this one is starting an itch. Same size as a G19 and the selling price is only $350.00. I know about the roster so we can skip all that negativity. Does any one have any knowledge about this gun or opinions they would like to share. Lets here what the CG experts have to say.

I have shot one... Very light pistol and nose light also.. About the size of a MP compact... Glock trigger which was not great— heavy and spongy... Have heard of the barrel-chamber-frame cracking so with all the negatives it’s not a option now.. Neither is the MP compact for that matter..
Buy a Browning Buckmark,, on the roster...
Or a Ruger mk 2-3-4 if you can find one ppt or consignment...
Much better balanced and a 10x better trigger...
My .02... But free to you...
Cheers...

I think I'll wait a while on this one. Seems to have a few issues. Thanks all.

I've been happy with the Advantage Arms conversion. Quick change back and forth, and allows you to practice with your actual grip and trigger.

The trigger on the couple I've handled have been almost NY Connector heavy.

I agree with this. I bought one about a year ago and I shoot it almost every time I go to the range. It is a ton of fun.

Yeah I have the gen3 17-22 and it fits on 5 of my Glocks... whatever grip and trigger, light, is on those guns is what you can train with. Very reliable and fun as hell when it is clean. Uses cheapo Golden Bullets.

Just shot mine for the first time.. at first I was "what a pile of crap".. it wouldn't cycle the first round.

Then I figured out the the magazine has to be loaded CAREFULLY since there's a ton of slop in them (unlike a Ruger 22/45).. once we slowly loaded the mags it was fine.

But seriously, those mags need a redesign

I hear the Glock's weapons are very good quality. I personally did not try them in practice, since my interest in weapons is purely theoretical.

Is there a reason to consider a conversion kit for people in other states where the cost of the conversion kit isn't too far off the cost of a new 44? Not the case in CA of course with supply via PPT only/premium prices.

In another state I'd probably get something else for a complete gun.

That's what I was thinking too, different equation with so many more choices for a 22 pistol.

A lot of people have enough stand alones anyway. I have probably eight or ten rimfire guns... I wanted a .22 glock slide to use on my actual frames.
