Grafs is good to go and SK is made by Lapua (they make the Wolf Match 22 ammo)....

Ordered 6 of these cans, card charged, so hopefully it's getting packed up soon and sent out....

honestly until a few months ago i'd never heard of lapua and didn't know wolf made 22. i've always just done winchester 555's and federal 525's from wally world. but i'm just a plinker, no need for expensive ammo to shoot tennis balls.

It makes sense that most people wouldn't know about them, but Grafs is beloved if you reload or shoot muzzleloaders. They have smokeless powder, black powder, bullets, lead balls, primers, all that kind of stuff. You don't usually think of them for ammo but they've had a couple of big shipments of SK. Might be importing it themselves - they have a lot of european powder so what the heck. Anyway, they're a really good company.

I ordered 1,000 rounds as well. I haven't been shooting much lately (all my .22's are in Wisconsin waiting for me to move there in August), but this ammo will be put to good use when I get there. I have 1k bulk ammo, 1k CCI Standard Velocity, and now 1K of SK. The bulk ammo will go into my 10/22, hopefully this SK is accurate enough for my Savage Mk2, and the CCI will probably go towards a .22LR pistol when I pick on up.

Picked up a couple hundred rounds of independence 5.56 yesterday. Also got some Tula in the same caliber to try it out.

The local store out here had at least 5k rounds of 5.56. I would have bought it all but I'm strapped for cash.

Ooops. I blame the lack of reading comprehension on the whiskey.
I'm sure the place had plenty of .22. Just didn't look for that

Cheers.

They definitely seem to be dribbling out a couple of varieties of aguila most days.

These days once they're on gunbot there are people who are a couple of steps ahead of you in checkout who found them other ways. So it'll show that they have a few cases left but you'll never get through check out in time. I know I had a least a couple of those posted here well before they were on gunbot.

Nice catch on the CCI Quiet. I've heard it's quieter than a lot of air rifles if you need to get rid of some pesky critter. Probably nobody needs more than a brick though!

@thegreasepit - Well, there are several ways. There are programs you can run that will watch a web page and if it changes pop it up in a browser window. There are also browser plugins that do something similar. Sometimes you get a lot of false hits but you can typically adjust them to only look at parts of the page. There's one for chrome called "page monitor" that a lot of people seem to like.

Personally I just monitor a couple of pages at any given time. A lot of the better deals are posted here anyway, but I like to keep an eye on sgammo's 22 page obviously. That's the main one right now. Sometimes if there's a good deal I'll watch that specific page for a couple of days - a lot of sites seem to only list what they have over a couple of days to get repeat traffic.

I do! My Uberti SAA replica loves the stuff and your right its pretty quiet but not silent. Sounds like a cap gun from when I was a kid.

Got me two bricks of it. Fun to shoot from the bolt gun and can go without the earplugs too. Thanks for the find.

Just my luck- I've been watching the Aguila .22 from AIM for about a week now, tabbed in a new browser....

I go to lunch and they sell out. I had signed up but never got an email either.

EDIT:
Will that "quiet" .22 take down pigeons? They congregate on the telephone poles above my back patio and **** all over the place.

Er, yes, but shooting up into the air is maybe not the best idea ever if there's not a good backstop. People seem to use them more on rodents running around on the ground.

Lapua Midas+ for pre-panic prices...

http://www.unammo.com/#305

That's arguably the best .22lr made today. Period.

Got all excited when I saw a case for $190 shipped. Until I realized they consider a 'case' 500 rounds.
