Apparently not since that is included in them.

I read the instructions. The issue is that this last fee was added at the end of the instructions as an after thought a *note if you will. The other fees followed an A,B,C format. If you can help, that’s great. If not, that cool too. Thank you for your thoughts on the matter.

Thank you! I was getting a bit paranoid and started thinking I needed both sets. My interview is tomorrow hence the panic. Much appreciated.

Good luck!
Oh, even though it doesn't explicitly say it, bring two separate money orders to the range (range day) for the amounts listed.

Thank you! I got two separate ones yesterday so hopefully I’m good to go on everything else!

It is very clearly listed. There is no after thought.

Well I guess that confirms we basically can’t change guns at renewal, as you’ll probably never get your renewal card. Sucks...

Since you insist on going through this path. Tell me where it is clearly listed on the website. The first two fees say at the time of interview. The last two don’t say when.

I saw what you saw Brownbear when I copied the lower section for you. I agree that a section "D" "Range Day Requirements For New Applicants" with the money order instruction ,would make it it tad more understandable. You will have plenty of time to get the "range" money orders after you get thru the interview and background check.

Due for renewal... Initial application statement of good cause was a simple "self protection". 1st renewal requires a simple paragraph for statement of good cause. Are we required to write another statement of good cause for renewal? Or is our previous statement of good cause GTG? Thanks.

Every renewal needs your good cause restated. You can no longer use just a two word statement.

Bring up the various state laws that release prisoners early etc... They seem to like that.

Anybody else still waiting for their renewal to show up? Mine expired 3/1/19. Took renewal class in December and qualified with pistol changes early January.

My brother turned in his paperwork sometime between Christmas and New year. He went to the range on January 2nd. His permit expired on March 15th.

He got his new permit on March 14th. They're working on them. You shouldn't have to wait too long.

PSA: I'm only going to be in the state another 6 months at most, so it isn't worth it for me to go through the process. I will be sending an email later tonight to cancel my April 30th appointment for the initial interview. If your quick, maybe someone with a later appointment can snatch it and get in sooner.
