Does anyone have any idea how I can find one?
Next time you see someone with one of these things that you’re unable to describe, ask him or her what it is and where you can get one.

You could also go with a universal mount for rifles that do not have a designated plate:

Good experience with the first link posted? Trying to find one sturdy

Yeah, but if it doesn't work it could also mean your rifle and scope dropping onto the ground.

Gotta love these threads hahah. Has OP even posted the BRAND AND MODEL OF TRIPOD he owns yet? Sometimes they never do. Makes you wonder. If you don't even know what you own already, how are you going to buy the thingy jigger that you need for the whatever? So entertaining. Love it when people ask questions they can't answer but they won't even give you the all the info they have.

Since you are the first to ask and my mistake for forgetting to add info. Here's a link to my purchase of the tripod.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And if your not willing to click the link... here's this

1/4-20 stainless steel mounting threads

3/8-16 back up threads CNC machined torque knob assembly with retention button screw to prevent disassembly in the field (opens 1/4in wider than previous model)

Stainless steel noise dampening tension spring 1/4 inch thick

recessed urethane pads specifically engineered to absorb rifle recoil

reduce muzzle jump Anti-rotation slots to accept tripod QD plates that have video pins Superior resistance to corrosion

$780 ? Sounds like a deal.

One of the Amazon pics clearly labeled MANFROTTO, so I'd assume the higly rated Magpul piece for $50 would work. Maybe read the manual. For almost $800 I hope you got a manual or maybe tech support?

That looks exactly like the thing that attaches to my old hi-8 camcorder to attach to a cheapo video tripod.
