Can't tell from the pics but does the lower come with the hole drilled for the buffer retaining pin?

I don't want to steal Jimi's thunder on this... but let's just say this is the first of several products in the pipeline. Our priority right now is in getting the 80% lower production rolling.

It most certainly does. Steps required to complete are the same as other 80s - fire control pocket and FCG holes for trigger/hammer pins and selector switch.

Thanks everyone for all the interest so far! I will have our website up for pre-orders within 24 hours and I'll have Jimi update the OP with the website info.

Eric

Any chance of having the bullet safety selector markings engraved already?

We'll have some pics up when we have a production-ready anodized jig to display; thanks for your patience! The design goal with these jigs is to make them compatible with all the popular 80% lowers out there, e.g. Jimi's 80s, Tactical Machining, Billet Rifles, Quentin Defense, Colfax, etc.

These will be ideal for the guy that likes to build up a lot of different brands and for CNC owner/operators that host build parties and machine rental time.

Jimi offers engraving, I'll defer this question to him. One of my favorite lowers is one he did for me with the Bacardi Bat Device logo and "Sober - Single (shot) - Double (shot)" for the selector markings.

Do you have a better idea on time frame for delivery? I saw the post earlier about 2 weeks minimum but that could be anywhere from 2 weeks to whenever.

We are beginning production next week. First orders out the door are targeted for March 7th. If we miss that date, I will gladly refund anyone who has paid for a pre-order but doesn't want to wait any additional time. First orders in will be the first ones to ship. Pre-orders are open at http://www.cnc80.com

Thanks!
Eric

Ok, so just to clarify, the back order on the website represents the pre order and not a back order on the pre order?

Hey guys, I see there are a lot of concerns with shipments and fulfillment. Please note that if you are able to purchase these on the site then you will be receiving them within 4 weeks at the latest. We will shut down ordering after we reach the limit we can supply in 4 weeks time.

Dumb question.....does this mean that the 80% will ship to the address that I used in my order, or will I need to pick up the 80% when it's ready?

Thanks.

It will ship to the address you enter when ordering. These are shipping out in the order they were received.

I know it says your jig will work with the QD Lower, but will a jig that works with the QD work with this one? Ordered a jig in the QD Group buy..

Very trick extras. I am using set screws on my lowers for springs (safety detent and takedown detent), but most noticeable is the trigger take-up very nice feature.

Thanks
Matt
