Default How do you adjust point of aim on a VTAC barricade?

When you shoot a rifle, or even a pistol, through the 45 degree slots or the horizontal slots of a Viking Tactical barricade, which way do you adjust point of aim?

Hold the gun at a 45 degree angle and close your eyes

Good question especially shooting a scoped rifle 200+ yards. We go to great lengths to make sure our rifles are level at long distances. The angled and horizontal slots are often not tall enough to allow holding a rifle level and for the scope to clear. Not only you have to account for bullet drop, but now you have to compensate for the sideways tilt of the barrel when shot at an angle.

Never shot anything father than 50 yards through a VTAC barrier, so I don't think to compensate my shots.

Tagged for answers.

Same here, never seem to shoot rifle further than pistol distances with those barricades.

Haven't tested it but if you're tilting left, aim high and right. If you're tilting right, aim high left. It's physics and sight axis over bore axis.

Easiest way to remember where to aim when canting a firearm.
Aim high on the mag side.
So which ever side the mag is pointing is the side to aim.
Kyle didn’t come up with that but either it was one or several students who did in one of his classes.
I took that class in Florida years ago and never forgot that.
