Default 10/22 Receiver

Is there any way to repair stripped v-block threads in a 10/22 receiver ?

A good machinist could insert helicoils or tap them to the next size larger (which would require modifying the block as well).

I am a machinist. use threaded inserts instead of Helicoils. kind of the same thing but better.

Also look at going metric thread. If the minor dia of metric is larger the major dia of existing,
then you can tap it. But! must drill it out and tap on drill press so tap starts straight and stays straight. Will also have to drill out the "V" block a little bigger.
I have done this before on other items and sometime you can get within .010-.020"
I think the bolts on 10/22 are #12-24
