Default Ati 1911

Turners has these on sale for $249. Im thinking about picking one up. How are they? I have a heratage rough rider and a ruger 22/45 in 22s and would like another. Are they jam o matics or pretty quality?
Thank you

Saw that too, it keeps nagging at me. Now it's even less than the spring sale.

I feel like a mugwomp. got my mug on one side of the fence with my womp on the other side.

ATI sell at Turners and GSG 1911-22 are the same pistol. The sights are plastic, the slide is nickel , the frame is aluminum, much lighter than a 45ACP 1911, not finicky ammo. . Search GSG 1911-22 for the posts about this pistol. I had one, I shoot about 5K rds on it without any problem, with all kind of “on sale” ammo then I loose the interest on it put it in the safe and plinking with another new toy.

Yes it is. So will you take $250 for it?

I just bought one too, Don! *high five*

I just talked to a fellow online who's using G10 Slim grips with his and he likes them, though you might need to play with screws and bushings to find the best fit.

I've seen these with a variety of grips on them so I'd assume they work with most full size/Gov't grips.

Sig might have some alternative options for grips as this gun is basically supposed to be almost the same as their 1911-22.

I have thin Kimber rosewood grips on my other 1911's. What are the G10 grips and where are they found? The Kimbers are $50+.

I know the rear cut is Novak because I installed a Remington adjustable on mine and it required just a minor amount of work. The front sight is available from Dawson, either a plain post or fiber optic. They all seem to shoot with a high POI, some worse than others but they come with three extra front sights. With the tallest front sight on mine it was still impacting 3" high at 10 yards so I ended up with a .300" from Dawson to correct it. The grips are standard 1911.

Does anyone know if there is an extended slide stop that works for this pistol? Ive tried a wilson and a john mason and neither fits. I did find one of my 1911 slide stops that fit but its a milspec size
