Default Armscor Rimfire Rifles

I've seen a Armscor MAK22 for sale at one of my local gun shops. Does anybody have any experience with these rifles? Or any experience with any Armscor rimfire rifle? Can we get a review on quality, reliability, parts availability and customer support? Maybe also some pics? Thanks.

They work, thats all ill say about them. For the same price you can buy yourself a WASR 22 and have an actual AK, built from an actual AK receiver. The Armsacorp ak's have zero compatibility with an actual AK.

Yeah I would stay away from them.

I bought one from Turners a few years back when they had them on sale (wanted a 10/22 and MAK22 was on sale too and figured might as well DROS both and save fees). I've put 900 rd through it. It is a decent little gun. Shoots accurately with the iron sights. It had a fair amount of FTF/FTE early on but settled down after the first range trip and a good cleaning. Since then, no problems.

My primary complaint is the mags are not cheap and your fingers will get nicked and sore trying to feed those mags. After a while, I get sick of feeding the Armscor mag and just decide to shoot the 10/22 instead. So the Armscor doesn't get a full day's work like a good 22lr should.

I got one of the AK47/22's for 150$ a little time ago. Haven't actually shot it yet.

I have an Armscor M1600. It works fine. It is quite accurate and a fun little plinker. Underneath the window dressing, these guns are simple, basic .22 rifles with same quality etc. as a Mossberg or Marlin.

I got's me one of them dare AK22's. It's alright, pretty accurate and fun to shoot, until it get's dirty then it will have some feeding and firing problems. So what I do is spray a little oil on the bolt and it is GTG again.

Don't pay no more than $200 for it.

Yeah, the gun shop had it priced for $230. So I guess its something that I will pass on. I would rather put that money towards a GSG-5.

Thanks for the input guys. You just made my wallet happy.
