Default Elcan 1-4x or 1.5-6x on SCAR 17

Hello All,

I'm interested in what you guys think is best for the SCAR 17. The use is close quarters and no more than 300yards. It's a big price difference. Would like to purchase soon.

Thanks

For CQB work up to 300 go with 1-4. The 1.5x6 is bigger, heavier but still good to a 1000 ( at least it worked for me ).

Consider the Variable Scopes out there as well, like the NEW NX8

EXPS3 for close quarters.
Add the G33 magnifiers for a little further out.

You will be solid out to 300 yards with the 1x/4x Elcan no problem.

I personally love the SCAR/Elcan combo, though the Nightforce NX8 would be a great option too as Big Bug mentioned. It’s in the same price range as the Elcan. Both options are great, so you won’t go wrong either way in my opinion.
