The popular STOP! Women’s Self Defense series is back! Offered every other month in 2014, train in techniques to defend yourself in various scenarios using Krav Maga. Taught by our top female instructor and site director, Deanna Perez, these seminars are “don’t miss” events.

Course: STOP! Self Defense Workshops - Krav Maga / Close Quarter Combat for Women

March: Public Places (SF)
March covers the “Public Places” scenario, where you will learn defenses appropriate for crowded and possibly chaotic public places like a store, bar, or nightclub.

May: Home Invasion (SC)
May covers the “Home Invasion” scenario, where you will learn ground defenses and using your home and environment to defend yourself in the case of a break-in.

July: Public Transportation (OAK)
July covers the “Public Transportation” scenario, including defending yourself while in a confined space or while seated, such as in a taxi, on a bus, or on BART.

September: Walking Alone (SF)
September covers the “Walking Alone” scenario, where you will learn combative defenses to use when you are walking alone, such as walking home from work, to/from BART, at the bus stop, at the ATM, and more.

November: Public Places (SC)
November covers the “Public Places” scenario, where you will learn defenses appropriate for crowded and possibly chaotic public places like a store, bar, or nightclub.

Great Home Invasion workshop today in Santa Clara! Students trained in combatives in our regular training classrooms prior to moving into our tactical training center. In the Tac area, they endured stress drills with multiple attackers moving in and around the house setup, culminating in low light home invasion drills with multiple padded assailant attackers. We wrapped up the workshop with a discussion led by an Alameda PD Sergeant and pepper spray instructor. Excellent work everyone! You fought and prevailed.
