A package from Heirloom Precision arrived
Posted the following at LTW website last week. Thought that some of you will enjoy the photos here.
Got home yesterday after work. Saw a package that arrived earlier during the day. I took my time to change and to take care of some chores, knowing it would take hours for this package. Finally opened the package and found a Sig P210 customized by Mr. Ted Yost. Sig P210 was considered one of the best 9mm in the world. This one was made for the Danish Army. Also known as the M49 or P210-2. Before: After: |

When I got here, I immediately fell in love with the guns from Heirloom Precision. I went through all the pages and saved all the guns done by them and studied them over a few months. By the time I got the phone calls, I knew what I wanted….. Special thanks to Mr. Yost and Mr. Burton for 2 incredible guns! They spent significant amount of time to discuss both builds and gave their advises. As one can see from the photos, all the details were well taken care of! Please excuse my eyes. Could not see so many pieces of lint while taking the pictures. Only saw them when I was correcting the color in Photoshop. |

Looking at your avatar, you're not making sense. If OP should have left the guns alone, why are you customizing your AR? And do you have any idea who those gunsmiths are? By customizing a gun, you're making the gun to fit you, for better functionality and ergonomics. In addition, look at what Yost and Burton did to the gun, the modifcations are for better grips and the necessary modification is to take out the design flaw, and to make sure the guns run each time and every time. |

I was searching for some inspiration for my Colt and man, oh man, oh man... What a find here!
Sorry for reviving a 2+ month old thread but I can't help but compliment such a beautiful Colt. And WTH? It is worthy to be revived! You, OP, are blessed with such a wonderful piece! Congrats! |

not to rain on your parade but i almost like the 210 as it was. kind of like not re-doing C&R unless it's just falling apart or the wood is rotting, etc. and yes, i have held and played with a yost 1911 before and realize he does very good work (i'm not knocking him or his work at all).
that 1911 on the other hand... i like w/o reservation. either way, congrats. |
