Talking Calguns comes through
I am still so overwhelmed by the Calguns community. Those who aren't aware, I am a quadriplegic from being shot by my neighbor 19 years ago. I was raised around guns and shooting. My Grandfather was the Marshall of Orange, Merced & Ventura County and he taught me to shoot. Despite what has happened I believe in our 2nd amendment rights! I wanted to get beck into shooting and reached out to you all...

The response was amazing. Someone bought the equipment I needed that was shipped today and should be here Friday (I hope) and another member set up a donation fund that raised $1600. I was overwhelmed. Others have offered ammo, cleaning stuff & other things. Simply awesome. With the donations I got a Glock 22 and laser so far . I can't wait to go to the range.

We are going to have a Shoot n' Que very soon. I just wanted to share this and thank Calguns again. I am so stoked!

Kevin,

I was talking with another calgunner last night and discovered that he has been working with some organization to take chairbound people shooting. He is currently in the process of designing competitive courses for them. We didn't have a lot of time to talk but, he should be contacting me shortly with some details since, I've volunteered to help. If you're interested in learning more about the program, I'll pass on more info when I receive it.
