I don't know about your application requirments, but I trust Samsung, and sandisk for SD cards of all flavors, and sizes, and even hard hitting devices here at work use Transcend cards.. What device uses miniDS cards these days?
I thought everyting was micro... Last edited by the86d; 03-16-2018 at 10:15 AM.. |

The main thing to look at is the SD card “class”
For a constant recording and re-recording device like a dash cam, you want a class 10 card. A Kingston 32gb class 10 would work nicely. Any card with a 10 inside a C, or a 1 or 3 inside a U, or a V10 or higher marking will be fast enough for the job Samsung and Sandisk are both quality brands too, bust many of their cards are class 4

There seem to be a lot more options available for micro SD cards than mini. I'd buy a mini and a mini to micro adapter.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWZWYVP (they have a variety of sizes to choose from, 64-128 gb seem to offer the lowest price per gb, but even the 32 is pretty inexpensive) and https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Micro.../dp/B000TLXCDW |
