Are you referring to the guide rod? I bet it's the camera angle.

Here is the guide rod on an S2O (center). The camera angle also makes the guide rod look off center:

If you have a closer look, I think what you are seeing is a shadow as a result of lighting, which looks like empty space.

If you look at your photo and compare, you will see that this area is actually frame material, not empty space.

Here is my 2075 Rami with CGW Pro package and Hakan Pek grips. Thomas from CGW called me after it was finished saying how pleased he was with it and said it was one of the best he's ever done.
