Default Ruger SR-22 and 10/22

Just got the SR-22 last month and received the KiDD parts last week. Had to take ACOG off the AR so I can shoot the SR-22.

SR-22 -
KiDD two stage trigger
KiDD bolt
KiDD charging handle assembly
KiDD buffer
Magpul ACS stock
ACOG TA01NSN with Docter (borrowed from AR)

Ruger 10/22 -
VQ trigger
KiDD 18" lightweight barrel
KiDD charging handle assembly
Boyds' Evolution stock
Tactical Innovation mount
Primary Arms sight

Nice rifles. How much did the SR-22 cost you if you don't mind me asking?
I saw one at Big5 and they wanted $670? Ehkkk.

The SR-22 cost $499 at Turners when theyhad them on sale. I think they are $570 regular price.

The photos were shot with a Nikon D90.
All of the KiDD parts were given as a gift.
Thanks.

The KiDD is 7/14oz and the VQ is about 3lbs. The trigger pulls are both crisp and true. I prefer the straight trigger of the KiDD.

I just ran 500 rounds of Armscor 22lr between the two guns - no issues at all. I know that there was just a thread in the rimfire section about this ammo.

Adoption is not an option - especially adopting someone older....

If I were to spend anything over $200 on a .22, the SR would be it.

nice rifles. love the acog+dot. i like the look of the kidd straight blade trigger but i dont know if id like a trigger that light. 3lbs for the vq sounds really nice though.
i get to pick up my 10/22 in like 2 hours. i cant wait.

Before I spend 70 bucks and order two of these Kidd cocking assemblies, did their handle fit and clear the outer receiver on your SR-22 without modifying it?

it'll fit. The SR-22 is just a 10/22 with a nordic kit on it.

No mods needed to the handle. Fits just fine.

Even though it needs a notch to clear the SR clamshell, I'm gonna probably go with the stainless finish Power Customs bolt handle, unless I can find some aluminum tubing and make my own handle. Not sure which handle I want to put on my bench 10/22. Might just leave that handle stock but I think the KIDD would look really nice.

I put a Tactical Solutions 32 hole flash hider on the stock SR barrel and I like it.
