I registered and Scott just sent out the COF. Looks like I need to get in touch with him for the combo. Thanks!

!Newb question alert!

I'm looking at the COF and setting up my DOPE cards for my wrist coach and I'd like to set up my dope in order of the target engagement.

Target 1 500Y Green Diamond
Target 2 600Y White coyote
. . .

One example COF look like this:

*(6SHOTS) Shooter will engage first target, 2 shots per target. 2 shots from the horizontal
*(laying down) barrel, then engage next target with 2 shots from vertical (standing)
*barrel and finally engage the last target with 2 shots from horizontal (laying down) barrel.

Should I expect the targets to be engaged near to far or do I just find out when I get there? I was going to set up all my cards now but maybe I'll get em ready and finalize them at the actual stage.

I would set up the targets near to far, but be ready to flip depending on your support position-

2 minutes for 6 shots with three position moves is a long time... HOWEVER, these are 85% super super reactive and may not settle back down for 10-15 seconds, so racking and immediately shooting isnít so easy.

For the standard T post or heavy targets is where you see 10-11 shots in the same 2 minutes.

Btw my car is loaded with lots of shooter giveaways for the random raffle draw...

Not sure where I need to put my rifle?? Roof Rack??

I'm glad I'm not flying out to the match. I wouldn't know where to put that ladder if I won it.

It's pretty wet out here tonight. Should be fun tomorrow.

Here is one of the stations in the great weather BEFORE we started the match.

Some really good shooters showed up!! Some people walked away super happy thanks to so many generous sponsors!

Default Scores

Here are the scores..

I killed Alice and thus zero'd a meaty 11 point stage, then went on to write down all the yardages wrong for another stage of 12 -- oh well, never feels good to zero two stages that's lot of possible points at even 1/2 value left un-scored. Hard to RO and shoot..

Jim, you did a great job RO'ing. It was fun shooting with you, especially with all the trash talk and laughs between you, me and David while on the clock!
