Default One Regret...

Not buying Glock 33 rd mags. Coulda, shoulda, woulda... Probably never would have even used them, but it still would have been fun to have, hold and cherish...

My only regret is I didn’t know where to look, now I do. If we get another window I’ll be on top of it.

No regerts.

Seriously though, hopefully CA gun owners that got this small taste of freedom start to realize that the enjoyment of our civil liberties is not subject to the whims of elitist politicians, nor are they to be restricted based upon the votes of an ignorant populace.

You should of bought a million of everything.

PS, the Glock 33-rnd magazine works in the Ruger PC9 takedown too, . So even if you aren't a Glock fan boy, like me, there is still a purpose. Also, just because you bloody could have during that week was enough of a reason.

You did buy them, don’t you remember? Your ridiculous self accidently bought the 10/33 versions and you drilled out the rivets on 3/30/2019. I can’t believe how ridiculous you are

All the blocked mags are the same springs, they just have a plastic block placed between the spring and then the rivet is inserted through the baseplate into the block.

Some places also epoxy the bottom, but I don’t like epoxy. It’s chemicals are not environmentally friendly 🙂. Be sure to check from where you buy that they don’t use it.

I sold most of mine as kits just before the law changed - and made a pretty penny. I kept 3 but didn't buy more as I felt I had enough.

Just think of it this way, if the law changes for the worse, you won't have to sell/bury it. I know it has yet to be tested but bump stocks have been ordered to be destroyed...

Looks like my collection. Just substitute one of the 50rd drums for a 100 rounder. FREEDOM

I bought some 30+ round pistol mags just because it's ridiculous and funny and why not if I can!

I almost bought a 100rd .223 drum mag too, but I bought a 60rd drum instead to save money.

One of the first standard capacity mags I bought and i'm glad I did. Love that glock 17 even more now. I'm still getting used to 33 rounds without reloading.

Is there any trick to keeping track of how many rounds are left in a mag? What do soldiers do in firefights? I imagine they have 33 rounders for their M16s. So do they just keep the number left in their mags in their head and top off between fights?

From a Bloomberg Business article from 2011:

For fans of the Glock semi-automatic pistol, one perk available at company-sponsored shooting competitions is the opportunity to buy extra-large 33-round magazines manufactured at the Glock factory. "We all probably own one or two just for the heck of it," says Steve Denney, a former police officer who manages the Pro Arms gun store in Live Oak, Fla. "I hate to use the word after Tucson, but for most of us, it's just a novelty."

Had to look it up but the Tucson shooting is the one that got Rep. Gabrielle Gifford.

I think it's BS we could only get things during that week, but that's another rant.

Freedom week actually has made me more resentful and taken advantage of by the CA DOJ.

Muscle memory, practice, and err on the safe side.

The D60 isn't what it is cracked up to be. Doesn't mean you shouldn't have bought it, just cause you could.

The D60 is a PITA to load, slow and a bulky. So you really aren't missing out. But still nice to have as an eff you to the state.

After they drill out the 10 round limiting rivets, they have a window...

I also regret not picking up some Glock big sticks. I don’t own a Glock or even like them to be honest, but numerous pistol caliber carbines accept Glock mags.

I've been looking at carbines and am wondering what exactly a carbine is. They kind of seem like small rifles, or extra long handguns. I also saw Arms Unlimited has a carbine kit that you plug a whole glock gun into and it adds a stock to it and it looks cool. Is that legal in CA? Is a carbine just a handgun that is more like a rifle? A mini rifle? I think I need to buy one, I just want to learn more.

edit: for reference, this is the one I was talking about https://www.armsunlimited.com/Micro-.../caa-mck-n.htm

edit 2: after googling, it appears they are not legal due to the short barrel size and overall length. oh well.

It was weird at the range to be able to continue past 10. My arms and trigger finger got tired.

Usually when I spend a lot of money, I regret it later. This was the opposite: I didn't want to spend the money in the first place, but I knew it was now or possibly never. Now I'm glad I did
