Default Ventura County Gun Show Townhall Meeting

I just got an email from crossroads gun shows that there will be another town hall meeting regarding the ventira county fair grounds and gun shows. I’m going to try and make it but Sundays are pretty hard for me. Hopefully people can go and represent the interests of 2A people on Sunday Feb 3rd. They are still trying to push the gun shows out of the fair grounds.
Make sure you get your free ticket ASAP.

This is the email I received:

Good afternoon Crossroads of the West gun show friends in the Ventura area. We wanted to let you know about a Town Hall meeting on February 3 from 11am to 1pm at Westlake High School (100 N. Lakeview Canyon Rd Westlake Village, California 91363). We hope you can attend. Since it IS a Town Hall event, it might be kind of nice for people to have more than one point of view. Frankly, many points on their agenda are good, memorializing the Borderline victims, mental illness, school safety- things we all agree on. If you are able to attend, please be respectful with your comments and conduct remembering that we are ALL against gun violence. Below is the message that the group Indivisible Ventura has sent out to their members.

The mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill has brought America's gun-violence epidemic home to the Conejo Valley. This forum will memorialize the victims and address issues surrounding the tragedy -- including Gun Violence Restraining Orders and the intersection between mental illness and firearm accessibility. Other topics will include campus active-shooter drills and school safety, as well as prospects for ending gun shows at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Participating speakers will include Rep. Julia Brownley, Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin, county Supervisor Linda Parks, and more.
This event is sponsored by Westlake High School UNA-USA, Never Again SoCal, March for Our Lives Ventura County, the Ventura County Brady Campaign, Conejo Valley Moms Demand Action, and Indivisible: Conejo.
